Job Type: Fixed term contract
Location: Dairymaster Global Headquarters, Causeway, Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland.

Role

• To work with a busy and fast paced team.
• Deal with a busy switch board; answering and directing calls promptly and in a customer friendly manner.
• Welcome and greet visitors to Dairymaster in a personable manner.
• Deal with enquiries from customers and the public and relay messages to relevant Dairymaster staff while ensuring they are followed up appropriately.
• Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, conferences and other events.
• Develop and maintain a current and accurate filing system.
• Organise travel arrangements for staff.
• Receive and sort incoming post and organise letters and parcels for posting.
• Responsible for keeping the reception area tidy and control inventory relevant to reception area.
• Provide general administrative and clerical support.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing results.

Requirements:

• Relevant third level qualification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Past experience in dealing with a busy reception area is desirable.
• Strong administration skills and an excellent telephone manner.
• Capable of multi-tasking with a high-level of attention to detail.
• Must be PC literate: Efficient in use of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, PowerPoint & Excel
• Professional and mature attitude to work.
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
• Person with agricultural background would be a distinct advantage.
• Energy, drive and enthusiasm – to be a proactive member of the team.
