Graduate Electrical Engineer

Dairymaster are currently recruiting for: Graduate Electrical Engineer

Job Type: Full Time
Location: Dairymaster Global Headquarters, Causeway, Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland.

Role

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems, components, and equipment.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to create detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyse technical requirements to determine the most suitable electrical solutions.
• Participate in the selection and procurement of electrical components and equipment.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Conduct tests and experiments to evaluate the performance and reliability of electrical systems.
• Perform calculations and simulations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in electrical engineering and apply new technologies to improve designs and processes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to achieve project objectives.
• Continually strive to update your own technical knowledge, as well as your understanding of the company products, services and customer needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Autodesk Electrical desirable.
• Familiarity with electrical testing and measurement equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong knowledge of Agriculture/Dairying desirable.
• Excellent IT skills must be proficient in the use of MS Office.
• Logically and technically minded, with excellent organizational and personal management skills.
