Job Type: Full Time
Location: Dairymaster Global Headquarters, Causeway, Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland.

Role

  • Develop the design and optimization of electrical systems, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and efficiency criteria.
  • Take ownership of projects from concept to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions within established timelines.
  • Drive innovation by identifying and implementing cutting-edge technologies. Solve complex engineering challenges to enhance system performance and functionality.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing protocols to validate electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to achieve integrated and cohesive solutions.
  • Assist in the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
  • Continually strive to update your own technical knowledge, as well as your understanding of the company products, services, and customer needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven track record of at least 3 years in electrical engineering, with a focus on system design and optimization.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Autodesk Electrical desirable.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing and measurement equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Logically and technically minded, with excellent organizational and personal management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
  • Experience with PLCs, VSDs and LV switchgear desirable.
  • This role offers a high degree of autonomy, allowing you to drive projects and make critical decisions independently.
