Dairymaster are currently recruiting for: Accountant

Job Type: Full Time
Location: Dairymaster Global Headquarters, Causeway, Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland.

Role

• Directly reporting to the Finance Director
• Manage day to day finance function and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations
• Process VAT, Intrastat and VIES submissions to the Revenue Commissioners
• Liaise with external auditor for the year end audit and annual stocktake
• Investigate any anomalies and highlight same to management as necessary
• Liaising with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency
• Perform any other accounting functions / ad hoc duties as requested & assigned by management from time to time in a timely manner

The Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• The ideal candidate may be a recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA) with 1 to 2 years’ post qualification experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Have a willingness to learn and develop professionally within the company.
• Be dependable, possess strong attention to detail skills and technical knowledge.
• Be an effective communicator with very good interpersonal skills and have strong organisational & time management skills.

Viewing of a portfolio either online or soft copy is desirable.
