Robotic Laser Technician

Dairymaster are currently recruiting for: Robotic Laser Technician

Job Type: Full Time
Location: Dairymaster Global Headquarters, Causeway, Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland.

Role:

• Support and develop Automated/Robotic Laser Weld technologies to improve weld processes, quality, and productivity.
• Support the training of operators in troubleshooting and repair of robotic welding equipment.
• Contribute to the design of weld assembly work cells and tooling/ fixtures.
• Recommend design changes to improve quality, reliability, and productivity of welding processes.
• Promote continual improvement in weld quality and weld processes.
• Determine Root Cause Analysis of weld failures
• Understand and adhere to parts and item traceability- Pre and Post operation based on BOM/ BOO, work instructions and job travellers
• Maintain a safe clean working environment complying with all Company safety procedures and regulations.
• Assemble subcomponents to make pre-weld assemblies as per Dairymaster specifications using the provided processes and tooling.
• Perform laser welding accurately as required.
• Populate fixtures with various components as per work instruction using hand and power tools.
• Constantly improve cycle time and throughput

Requirements:

• Technical Degree
• At least 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  
• TIG welding experience an advantage
  
• Must be a team player, Solid Communication Skills, Good Work Ethic and Basic Computer Skills.
• Safety Conscious.
• Communication: proficient English both written and verbal.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math calculations.
• Excellent attendance and flexibility regarding work schedule and overtime.
• Good housekeeping skills.
