Dairymaster are currently recruiting for: Depot Manager in our UK offices

Job Type: Full Time
Location: Dairymaster UK Ltd., Buntsford Hill Business Park, Buntsford Park Road, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire

Role

• Managing all processes and functions within the warehouse.
• Coordinating racking and storing.
• Maintaining high standards of materials handling.
• Responsible for the warehouse security and accountability.
• Ensuring stock levels are managed and controlled effectively.
• Using automated computer systems to create invoices and monitor stock control.
• Making sure that all invoicing and deliveries are carried out in a timely manner.
• Ensuring accounts are up to date and liaising with Sales Area Managers regarding debt control.
• Scheduling warranty/service work
• Scheduling availability of show equipment.
• Updating & maintaining computerised & paper based administrative records.
• Responsible for the disciplinary & grievance procedures.
• Working with Export Managers to review procedures and maximise customer satisfaction.
• Tidiness & good housekeeping at all times.
• Ensure that the Company’s high standards of Health & Safety are maintained.
• Implement changes to processes or methods to achieve maximum efficiency where such opportunity exists.
• Manage, motivate and engage the warehouse team to reach optimal performance through involvement.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role required.
• Previous experience of warehouse management systems desirable ( SAP)
• Excellent communication & leadership skills.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office.
• Forklift & / or counterbalance certification
