Dairymaster are currently recruiting for: Automation/MIG Welding Programming/Support Engineer

Job Type: Full Time
Location: Dairymaster Global Headquarters, Causeway, Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland.

Role:

• Support and develop automated/robotic MIG weld technologies to improve weld processes, quality, and productivity.
• Support the training of operators in troubleshooting and repair of robotic welding equipment.
• Contribute to the design of weld assembly work cells and tooling.
• Recommend design changes to improve quality, reliability, and productivity of welding processes.
• Promote continual improvement in weld quality and weld processes.
• Assist in weld development of new programs, including approval for production
• Develop in conjunction with the design team the weld drawings, weld matrices and weld related forms.
• Determine Root Cause Analysis of weld failures

Skills:

• Experience with MIG welding processes is essential
• A knowledge of manufacturing and mechanical Engineering is essential
• Experience with MIG welding processes and robotic applications is desirable 
• Bachelor’s degree in Welding Technology, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering is desirable but not a prerequisite
