CNC Laser Operator

Dairymaster are currently recruiting for: CNC Laser Operator

Job Type: Full Time
Location: Dairymaster Global Headquarters, Causeway, Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland.

Role

• Operate the CNC laser cutting machine and other machinery used in the production process, or assist other machine operators.
• Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
• Perform some machine alignments procedures, optic cleaning to keep equipment at peak operating performance.
• Ensure production schedule follow through as allocated by the scheduling department.
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Run multiple machines simultaneously, if required.

Requirements:

• Constant attention to safety.
• Consistent and accurate quality checks.
• Overhead crane and forklift skills a plus.
• Experience on Trumpf or similar CNC laser cutting machines desirable.
• Flexible approach to working, this position requires shift work as well as some weekend work.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work and liaise with all staff and supervisors.
