Location: Dairymaster Global Headquarters, Causeway, Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland.

Role

We are looking for an Application Support Analyst that ideally has experience in supporting Enterprise Resource Planning, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Warehouse Management Systems and Production Scheduling in a manufacturing environment. This position will encompass supporting SAP Business One and associated applications as well as developing SQL Queries, Crystal Reports and Dashboard to support the business.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and keen to take on direct responsibility for the systems. You will need good communication skills and will be happy talking to end users at all levels of the organisation. Experience and a solid knowledge of manufacturing, production scheduling and distribution practices is desirable but not essential.  The role will be located on-site in our Global Headquarters in Causeway, Co Kerry, Ireland and will encompass remote user support of our facilities in Holland, Germany, United Kingdom and the USA.

Requirements:

Third level qualification in Software Engineering or equivalent.

Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills (both verbal and written).

Experience of the following is a distinct advantage but not a prerequisite.

• SAP Business One
• Warehouse Management Systems
• Production Planning and Scheduling Software
• Manufacturing Execution System

Understanding of financial practices in a commercial environment.

Strong proficiency with writing SQL Queries, views and store procedures

Experience of Crystal Report writing

Understanding of Business Intelligence, Dashboards and visualization.

Reporting analysis, design, development and testing.

Ability to work on own initiative, in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail being vital.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, an ability to understand complex problems and generate appropriate pragmatic technical solutions.

Proven ability to analyse technical software development/design issues and manage them to resolution.

Energetic and eager to learn and implement new technologies when required.

Focused on keeping your knowledge up to date.

Additional skills to be considered:

Documentation skills for user training

Familiarity with the .NET framework

C# / .net development skills are desirable but not essential

Ability to handle common database procedures-upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
