Design Engineer (Civil Engineer)

Dairymaster are currently recruiting for: Design Engineer/Civil Engineer

Job Type: Full Time
Location: Dairymaster Global Headquarters, Causeway, Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland.

Role

The role will involve the following:

• Design and optimisation of farm buildings for the agricultural sector, providing architectural design services and solutions on construction projects.
• Develop building drawings, prepare and present design proposals using three dimensional computer aided design and traditional methods.
• Read and interpret design drawings, specify components to ensure conformance with building design and specifications.
• Following instruction, design engineering projects, in line with customer requirements.
• Other duties as needed and assigned.

Requirements:

• Proven ability to work with in areas relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures.
• A qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, or similar.
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative, must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Logically and technically minded, with excellent organizational and personal management.
• Professional and mature attitude to work, able to work in a highly flexible team environment.
